My saturday

Today I didn't do much. I woke up around 9 and I immediately began cleaning my room. I finished (thankfullly!) and I fell back to sleep because I was exhausted. I didn't have to work today, so really it was just a day of lounging.

My dad and my brother completeed a few projects on the house. For instance our stone wall by our driveway now resembles the stone wall by our pool. We moved our wishing well and added a stone base to it.
Now, we may be redoing our kitchen floor so we will have to keep our refridgerater in the hall!

My dad wasn't feeling too well, so we got takeout for dinner. I got a grilled chicken salad. yummmmmmm im always up for a salad (=

After dinner, we all played Mario Kart on the Wii. I played my mom, and she won the first game. Then I played my sister, she lost. Then I played my brother and he won. Then, I played my sister again and she lost. Then my mom lost. Im amazing at it. Seriously.

My fan, spiders, and a box.

Well, it has been funky weather up here. LOTS of rain, LOTS of storms, and LOTS of ... spiders??

Thats right. my room has had literally 3 -6 giant spiders on my floor, on my wall, on my bed... gross. I mean my room isnt the CLEANEST, but certainly doesnt need insects running around everywhere. Especially since I am afraid.

So we are cleaning my room head to toe today! No spiders are going to want to come in here, that is for sure!

My mom recently went out shopping with my gma. She asked if I needed anything. Generally I say no, because I can buy it myself. But then it hit me, I needed a fan! So, i asked for a standing fan. It is amazing. seriously. ahhhhhhh i can feel it now (=
After working long hours every single day and having to hear my boss, joe, complain, my coworkers complain, and the customers complain... and then having to deal with a hot HOT room, ya the fan is AWESOME.

The box that the fan came in, dizzle decided was her new bed. It is too big for my room (even though my room is huge)... its too big and i have to get rid of it. I will let her play with it a little longer. But it needs to go..

OOOH update. Beth and Charlie are officially BACK together. He is in Ireland. she is here looking at apartments in springfield for Law School... Ya

and on Monday I went to Jury Duty at 7 am and got out at 430 pm -- I wasn't chosen to be a juror, but I had to be questioned by the judge, ADA and the criminal defense lawyers to see why. I cried... it was ... not something I wanted to be part of.
I cry at everything. I am so sensitive. But, it got me out of jury duty (=
Cant tell you the case, though...

Happy Birthday, Laurie

On June 6th, It was Bryan's mom (Laurie's) Birthday..
Bryan was so excited to get her the gift!
He got this AMAZING candle holder thing, it is a set of 3 wine bottles with no bottom. It has a place for tealights to go. It is just gorgeous. Definitly goes with the style of their house.

I got her a Yankee Candle gift card, just because those wine bottles cost so much, that he didn't have enough for tealights. So I kinda figured that she could use it for candles. Or- she may use it for Willow's litter box! (I have two cats, I know the smell-- doesn't smell like roses, that's for sure)

Happy Birthdayy + Anniversary Bryan!

So, on June 9th Bryan turned 20. On June 10th it was our 6 year anniversary. WOOOOOH! What a year!

Bryan got a lot for his birthday-- from my parents he got a chilis gift card (his favorite restaurant!)
from dizzle he got the movie Cloverfield (his new favorite movie!)
from me he got... some Sports Author Michael Holley-- a book he wanted
red sox golf balls --3 for 10$ it is not cheap!
a red sox stuffed bear because he got me a bear from some game in Canada he went to last summer. His cost 5 bucks, the one I got cost 30 and its the SAME thing! ahahaha!
So I also got him red sox boxers - he picked them out when we were at Olympia.
He also got a red sox golf towel- which he also picked out.
What a birthday!

THENNN!!!!! For our anniversary...
he gott....
all of the movies we have seen together since we first started dating 6 years ago in 8th grade.
These are the movies-- Saw 2, 3, 4, 300, Apocolypto, The Prestige, Borat, Dan in Real Life, The Guardian, Halloween (new one) Hannibal Rising, Hostel 2, Mr and Mrs Smith The Break up, Night at the Museum, Fantastic 4.

I still have to get, 10,000 BC, Pirates 2 and 3, Leatherheads, The Omen, The texas chainsaw massacre, the hills have eyes, we have the Lion, the Witch, And the Wardrobe already, and I need to get the new one.

There may be a few that I missed- But i Certainly will get them. Bryan saved most if not all of the movie stubs, so they will possibly go in the movie case. We are big movie watchers, we love movies tv, etc.

For our anniversary he got me Gone With the Wind DVD... I haven't gotten it yet but I am real excited to get it. I should betting it this coming thursday, when I see him. Yayy!

I wonder what my Birthday present will be....???

Red Sox game-- Happy Birthday Bryan!

Happy Birthday Bryan (ok so this post is a little late... what are you gona do? I have a hectic lifestyle!)

Okay.. So on June 3rd Bryan and I went to our first red sox game together! It is so hard getting time off from my work, that I had to request it off a few months ahead of time. I surprised him with this as one of his birthday gifts. So, I went to Bryan's house. We then took the train from Haverhill to Boston. I haven't really been on a train alone, so it was a fun experience! They actually DO wear train hats. If you ask me, it is a fashion DON'T! Anyway-- we are on the train.. we had many stops along the way. More and more people with red sox shirts began boarding. Once we were in Boston, we saw all the places we would love to go. (FYI - our next "adventure" is some museum in Boston.. they have a new baseball thing he is dying to see). I want to go to the aquarium... so maybe another summer goal as well??

Once in Boston we stopped and had to walk to the subway. Once we figured out what we were doing with some help from a few people, we found our way to our subway. We took it and ... it was a very curvy ride. We were towards the back, but the car behind us was the last car. It kept moving side to side.. I got so dizzy that I almost was sick! We FINALLY arrived there.. and had to walk a few blocks to Fenway Park. It was SOOOOOOO hot out. Literally... I was fanning myself. We found a place to buy a drink and the guy selling it was very ... obnoxious. Anyway-- I have my drink, I was cooled off.. we had to wait a bit for Fenway to open..

FINALLY it opened up! 93 degrees and we were finally in fenway park. It was during batting practice, so we went to right field and Bryan tried to catch the balls with all of the other guys. Well, I was just sitting, minding my own business when the ball comes flying at me. I am not one to reach out my hand and grab it, nonchalantly. So i freaked out and jumped out of the way. A few minutes later ANOTHER one comes flying at me. I, once again, freaked out and ran away.. The third time is the charm. After I almost was smacked in the head by one, I realized it was time for me to go wait inside while Bryan can play catch. He didn't get one, but was a little upset that after having 3 opportunities, I didn't catch one. I heard more than once, "all you needed to do was reach your hand out and grab it".

So, time to find our seats! We ask around because we cannot find it anywhere! When we asked one man, he was really excited about our seats, apparently they were good ones. Well, we had to show our tickets to the guard at the end of our walk into a private walkway. We were allowed in. We had to show them again to another guy. He brought us to our seats, set them down for us, wiped them down... and then he left. Apparently you are supposed to tip him. Ooops... I really didn't know. All he did was put my seat down and wipe it. I could easily have done that for myself, so I don't understand why he deserved a tip. I didn't ask for it. -- Typical me.. I think that I get it from my dad. (=

So, we watch the game and its AWESOME! Bryan had a blast, which is why I got the tickets. (For Free) But still-- I mean, It took effort in asking my dad for them. So we are almost at the end of the game and thennnn....

SOMEONE RAN ACROSS THE FIELD! The security guards were running after him, one jumped to grab him, he missed, the other one chased him down.. they just couldnt catch him. He dove into the sea of people and so did the security guards. He apparently got away. Coool!! It was awesome!

Leaving was TERRIBLE!!!!! I kept ssaying, "next time we are taking a limo". Tooooo many people took the subway. After 30 minutes of wating to get on, we finally did. But-- it BROKE DOWN! so we all had to get off, and get back on another one. Then we finally made it to our train stop. We took the train and got back to Bryan's house safe and sound.

It was a loooong day, but we both had a lot of fun! Maybe next year we can do it again! If we get tickets, of course....
